In an effort to help the residents and visitors of Covington improve their health and well being, Covington Mayor Mike Cooper, yoga instructor Betty Gelatt and Mayoral Assistant Pam Keller have formed the Mayor’s Council on Healthy Lifestyles.
Ray of Hope charity selects Barhams as first recipients

The newly created Ray of Hope Foundation in Maumelle announced this week that the family of Brett Barham has been selected as the first recipients of the foundation, which hopes to raise money to support families such as the Barhams, who lost their husband, father and sole provider earlier this year.
